Nel corso della conferenza Nazionale DGTVi sulla Televisione Digitale Terrestre è stato annunciato il calendario dettagliato per il 2009 degli switch-over e switch-off al Digitale Terrestre.

Per switch-over viene definito lo spegnimento delle tramissioni del segnale analogico con il passaggio al segnale digitale, mentre per switch-off si intende il passaggio definitivo di tutte le reti televisive dal segnale analogico alla tecnologia digitale terrestre.

Calendario anno 2009 :

15 Febbraio: Switch-Over in Trentino
20 Maggio: Switch-Over in Piemonte Occidentale (prov. di TO e CN)
16 Giugno: Switch-Over in Lazio (esclusa prov. Viterbo)
10 Settembre: Switch-Over in Campania
14 – 23 Settembre: Switch-Off in Valle d’Aosta
24 Settembre – 9 Ottobre: Switch-Off in Piemonte Occidentale (TO e CN)
15 – 30 Ottobre: Switch-Off in Trentino
26 Ottobre – 13 Novembre: Switch-Off in Alto Adige
16 – 30 Novembre: Switch-Off in Lazio (esclusa prov. Viterbo)
1 – 16 Dicembre: Switch-Off in Campania

Monumento alla Vittoria di Bolzano

Bolzano viene spesso classificata una città noiosa, soprattutto per gli studenti. Se però osserviamo quello che avviene al di fuori dell’Alltag, ovvero la routine, ci accorgiamo che, al contrario, ci troviamo in una polveriera di opinioni contrastanti determinate da un passato che spera di essere superato, ma che viene regolarmente richiamato all’attualità da fraintendimenti e malintesi forse legati alle differenze linguistiche.

Ieri sera si è tenuta una conferenza in università sull’architettura mussoliniana nel capoluogo altoatesino. La presentazione del prof. Nicoloso si è incentrata sul monumento alla vittoria costruito nella piazza della Vittoria (che per meno di un anno si è chiamata piazza della Pace) dall’architetto Marcello Piacentini. Il monumento è un arco che richiama esplicitamente alla memoria dell’osservatore gli archi di trionfo dei grandi imperatori dell’antica Roma. (link per chi ha Facebook sulla conferenza)

Il pubblico preferendo dare sfoggio della propria cultura, anziché fare domande ai relatori, tra cui il rettore Lorenz e il professor Prey, ha comunque fatto emergere alcuni interessanti spunti per una riflessione.

L’osservazione più interessante, mossa da una persona di cui mi sfugge purtroppo il nome, sottolineava che il monumento fascista dava forza a coloro che di cultura tedesca pretendono di voler vestire ancor oggi i panni della vittima. All’italiano invece trasmette forse un senso di vergogna e colpa che però oggidì, mi permetto di dire, sono fuori luogo. È vero sì che ci sono ferite ancora da rimarginare, ma la ferita non va toccata bistrattata, se non per disinfettarla o circoscriverla.

Il messaggio che Mussolini desiderava comunicare e che senza dubbio è riuscito a comunicare a suo tempo è di un Italia che non si deve piegare. Una nazione che “vuole la pace ma non teme la guerra”. Oggi il messaggio sembra avere effetti opposti, dove chi prima era pieno d’orgoglio, adesso ritira la coda fra le gambe e abbassa le orecchie.

Il monumento però, è stato sottolineato dal professor Nicoloso, non è dedicato ad una vittoria italiana ma fascista, come aveva commentato lo stesso Piacentini, un particolare che sembrano essersi dimenticati coloro che il 4 novembre in occasione del memoriale dell’Unità italiana depongono una corona d’alloro ai piedi dell’arco. Cosa ne pensino oggi i bolzanini è un domanda interessante che sicuramente va approfondita ma non senza prima aver indagato più a fondo quali altri attriti vi sono in questa bellissima città.

A tal fine spero di potermi avvalere degli studenti oriundi della zona per farmi illustrare cosa resta e cosa è cambiato del Passato che l’Alto Adige alternatamente mostra e nasconde.

Intervista a Patrick Amici

Ho deciso di intervistare Patrick Oliver Amici per documentare un po’ il Red Bull Can You Make It perché hanno partecipato amici miei sia come organizzatori che come competitori. Inoltre il tutto ha avuto luogo anche nella nostra università.

Patrick, di cos’è che ti occupi all’interno dell’uni?
Da più di un mese ho fondato insieme ad altri ragazzi uni-party, un’associazione che si occupa principalmente di eventi serali a Bolzano. Le feste sono la risposta al nostro desiderio di far divertire i ragazzi senza farli spendere troppo. E questo non solo una volta alla settimana! Assenzio e Boulevard [due locali in centro a Bolzano, ndr] fanno ogni giorno sconti a studenti con la tessera universitaria. La nostra sede operativa è all’interno dell’uni nella stanza C4.6.

E qual’è il tuo rapporto con RedBull?
La mia qualifica ufficiale con RB è Student Brand Manager. Ciò non significa essere parte attiva nelle vendite ma dare un contributo all’organizzazione di eventi all’interno dell’università. Con RB ci scambiamo idee su cosa organizzare e da loro otteniamo poi il supporto. Ad esempio agli Snowdays RB ci tiene molto a collaborare dando un contributo sul piano logistico e organizzativo. RB vede negli Snowdays una forma di divertimento per gli studenti. Io personalmente non ho orari fissi, né deadline da rispettare. Sono molto flessibile e se ci sono eventi all’università che non partono direttamente da me sono sempre disponibile a collaborare.

Cosa ti ha spinto a portare il Red Bull Can You Make It a Bolzano?
L’idea pazzesca di muovere studenti da 15 paesi europei senza che essi abbiano con sé soldi, carte di credito né documenti mi ha subito fatto decidere di offrire un checkpoint qui.

Cosa dovevano fare i team che passavano da Bolzano?
Io, in qualità di Checkpoint leader, ho ideato tre prove delle quali ogni team se ne sceglieva una: a) trovare vestiti tipici sudtirolesi e riprende un piccolo giro per piazza Walter così vestiti con una telecamera, b) trovare cinque panifici diversi e portare da ciascuno del pane tipico dandone prova via foto, c) (questa ha coinvolto anche gli studenti di Bolzano) trovare tre biciclette per se e altri tre sfondanti, studenti appunto, e fare una gara di velocità con itinerario a scelta loro.
Se non portavano a termine la prova non beccavano niente. “Work hard, play hard” è il motto del RBCYMI. Il premio era una cassa di Red Bull con cui poi avrebbero dovuto finanziarsi il viaggio.

Quanti team erano in tutto e quanti di questi sono passati da Bolzano?
Sono passati 22 team. Alcuni di questi provenivano dall’Italia, altri dalla Svizzera, Ungheria, Spagna e anche dagli Stati Uniti su un totale di 99 team. Principalmente le squadre erano di ragazzi ma in due o tre team c’erano anche ragazze, che è stato positivo perché in qualche modo… hanno coinvolto la community studentesca.

Chi ti ha aiutato nell’organizzazione dell’evento? L’università come ha reagito?
All’interno dell’associazione [uni-party, ndr] ho avuto un consenso immediato così come anche da SCUB e Alumni. Kikero invece ha tardato in questo. Anzi, ha dato disdetta il giorno stesso dell’apertura dell’evento che avevamo prima programmato nel social club dell’università. Sarebbe stata gradita una risposta in anticipo. Il checkpoint è poi stato spostato nel nostro ufficio.

Che cosa ha funzionato bene e cosa invece ha dato problemi?
La gestione del posto ha funzionato benissimo, perché tanti ragazzi mi hanno aiutato, in particolare i ragazzi di uni-party, ma anche esterni. Di cose che non hanno funzionato non saprei… Forse solo il fatto che ogni tanto era difficile dar trovare il checkpoint ai team, visto che c’era chi toglieva i cartelli nell’uni.

C’è qualcosa che vuoi aggiungere in generale?
Sì. A breve (la data è ancora da stabilirsi) ci sarà il Red Bull Paper Wings e invito tutti gli studenti a partecipare. L’evento, se tutto va bene, sarà ospitato da SCUB e uni-party nella zona sportiva dell’università. L’appuntamento costituisce le qualificazioni per la finale nel Red Bull Hangar 7 a Salisburgo in Austria.
