Sprint’s version of the Galaxy S III has been a bit delayed due to some supply shortages, but the carrier has just confirmed that the Galaxy S III will be available in store on July 1. Pre-orders for the 32GB version started shipping yesterday.

According to Sprint’s official word (below), only the 32GB version will be available on the web, while the 16GB version requires a visit to a good old brick-and-mortar location. Pricing remains the same, with the 16GB version costing $199.99 on-contract, and the 32GB version going for $249.99.

Here’s the official comment that just went live on the Sprint Community:

Samsung Galaxy S III will be available at Sprint beginning on Sunday, July 1. It will be offered in a 16GB version for $199.99 and 32GB version for $249.99 (excluding taxes) with a new line or eligible upgrade and two-year service agreement at Sprint Stores, Sprint Business Sales, Telesales (1-800-SPRINT1) and Web Sales. The 32GB version will be available in Web Sales, Sprint Business Sales and Telesales.

We originally expected a June 21 launch out of Sprint, but the company had to push back the launch date due to shortages. In any case, people are still chomping at the bit for this device so it shouldn’t make too much of a difference in Samsung’s overall sales.

In fact, the company is predicting 10 million Galaxy S III sales by July.
