In the wake of the closure of MobileMe, Apple is again reminding people that it is pulling the plug on iWork.com at the end of the month as it transitions users to its iCloud service for online syncing and storage.
“As of July 31, 2012, you will no longer be able to access your documents on the iWork.com site or view them on the Web,” the iWork.com site says. “We recommend that you sign in to iWork.com before July 31, 2012, and download all your documents to your computer. For detailed instructions on how to save a copy of your documents on your computer, read this support article at Apple.com.”
The company has been warning users since March about the termination of iWork.com.

iWork.com, which has been in “beta” status since it launched in 2009, offered people a way for people to share and collaborate in work-related documents online. The shut down of the site does not affect the iWork productivity suite, which can be used with iCloud.
This past weekend, Apple’s MobileMe service was turned off for good.
