The makers of rapper Tupac Shukar’s hologram announced a deal Wednesday to co-create several virtual Elvis Presley likenesses for use on film, television and other projects.
Digital production company Digital Domain Media Group — which brought the life-sized digital Tupac to life for a performance with Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre at Coachella in April — has partnered with Core Media Group to resurrect the “King of Rock ‘n’ Roll” as a computer-generated human.
The companies have yet to say when and where people will see CG Elvis perform.
