BlackBerry Curve 9310 owners will soon be able to IM as much as they want through a new plan offered by Boost Mobile.
Slated to kick off July 10, Boost Mobile’s BBM Unlimited plan will provide worldwide and unlimited access to RIM’s BlackBerry Messenger service. Unfortunately, most BlackBerry users will be out of luck as the offer is designed exclusively for the BlackBerry Curve 9310, RIM’s new $99 smartphone set to debut the same day.
The BBM Unlimited plan throws in unlimited nationwide talking and texting for $45 a month. But customers who make their payments on time can gradually lower the monthly cost. For every six payments made on time, consecutive or non-consecutive, users will see their bills drop by $5 each month until they bottom out at $30 a month.

The new BlackBerry Curve 9310 will offer a 3.2-megapixel camera with flash, built-in Wi-Fi and GPS, stereo Bluetooth support, an FM radio, and a battery that provides up to 8 hours of talk time and up to 70 hours of music playback on a single charge.
Outfitted with the BlackBerry 7.1 OS, the new Curve will support Yahoo, Gmail, and Hotmail for e-mail and texting and include a dedicated BlackBerry Messenger key. Users will also have access to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and other social media sites.
“We have partnered closely with RIM to enhance the Boost Mobile line-up and launch the first-ever no-contract BlackBerry smartphone priced under $100,” Andre Smith, vice president of Boost Mobile, said in a statement. “This breakthrough device is matched with the most affordable BlackBerry service plan in the industry with shrinking payments and unlimited talk, text, and worldwide BlackBerry Messenger.”
